Survey results

The survey results are in.

The survey gave you, the ratepayers, the opportunity to voice your opinion regarding the the use of the land formerly used as a golf course.

While the survey results do not guarantee a specific use of the land going forward, it did provide an understanding of what the ratepayers would like to see.

The board will consider the results as they investigate possible future land uses. 

There were 290 completed surveys, which is approximately 62% of the total ratepayers.



Of the 290 surveys:

50% (146 votes) were for a golf course.

43% (125 votes) was for either a park or a green space.

The remaining 7% either made no pick or picked all three, as such were non-votes.
